Well, if you really love her then it'll be really hard to become interested in anyone else, so just go how you feel. Although because of the fact that she broke up with you because of "not being good enough" and then went ahead and hooked up with your best friend kinda shows that she really might not be good enough for you. Someone who loved you (assuming she is since she never said that she broke up with you because of not loving you) and cared about you wouldn't really do that. :/ If you want to wait you should wait, if you want to move on move on. Just tell her parents whatever it is you feel and they should understand. Also, you're living your life and not your ex's life. Its not nice to hurt someone, but if it's hurting you to do something for someone else you should also realize that whoever is making you do something you don't want isn't really caring about you. :/ Good luck with it though.
