Well yeah I do this quite often actually. My friend comes over sometimes and she looks through my anime dvd's for things to watch. Landed up watching Beck:Mongolian Chop Squad a couple of days ago and started Spice and Wolf today. Not to mention at school i've watched a lot of anime at club events. It's definitely better than watching alone.
