It's kind of like the prank calls to C-Span, you cannot really crack down on them until it is too late. The best way would be to report them and then have the site's admins find some kind of way to IP ban them from coming back.

I kinda agree with Yu. I rarely set expectations for dates. I'm more out to have a good time. So when unexpected problems arise, I wing it, and make it a part of the experience. There's too many variables to worry about, and even if everything did go exactly as you expected, that would still be pretty boring.
