As someone who's rarely on here these days, I have to agree. I've not really been involved in the forums since last year when Key left the site. Every time I look at the forum tags they just seem to say the same thing over and over.

I personally like the idea. Besides being a fun way to make friends, collaborations also help an instrument to overcome its weaknesses with another instrument's strength.
For example, when I try piano covers of some anime songs, it's pretty hard to mimic the bass background; yet bass alone cannot fully bring out the melody.
Also, some music pieces are more beautiful in wind or string instruments than in keyboard, but those instruments may fail to create rich chord by themselves.
If anyone is interested in either instrumental or instrument-vocal collaborations of anime songs, here's a platform for you :D

I've seen this well before this alpha was released. It's absolutely amazing how they managed to make something like this in the GZDoom engine. A mod of a really old classic that looks good enough to be sold as a full game once they put more work into it and finish it.

Welcome to MO! I joined up for similar reasons like you (left hs and didn't have an anime club anymore so wanted to make friends). Honestly, it's been a great place for me! Even if it's just getting to game and skype with people I hope you find what you're looking for any make lots of new friends!
