Block and Ignore List options

Please please PLEASE make this exist. It's annoying that in more serious topics, someone always leave some unnecessary comment, and being able to block them would help tremendously. When you block someone, not only will they be unable to comment or message you, but make sure they can't post in a topic you make, and if they post in another topic you haven't made, you wouldn't see their posts since their blocked. This would help substantially.

Just ignore em its that easy lol there's no need for a block list its the internet u will be trolled, harrassed, judged, etc etc lol if a person wants to piss u off even if u block him he will just make a different acc n do the same n so on n so on. So I consider that option useless lol

Block/ignore for profile comments, personal messages, etc... are needed. But the forum is a community place. There are a lot of generic topics created here and they eventually become something that doesn't really "belong" to the first poster in them. So it would be excessive to reject people from making forum posts based on the first poster's block list.

^ fine at least if person A blocks person B, they can't message or comment them, but on the forums, person A won't see person B's posts since he/she is on ignore. I REALLY hope this becomes a reality one day.

How about a personal block on someone you don't like, rather than blacklisting users just because 1 or a few people didn't like them. It's shit like blocklists and other mollycoddling features that suck all the life out of social media sites. A feature where you choose to block people on a case by case basis will suffice.
