Yeah I usually solo all the time because I'm just not that much of a group person in all honesty. It's a fun game and I'm about to buy another month of premium.

I played it right when it came out. While it's true every MMO gets boring eventually, PSO2 was on a different scale as it turned boring very quickly. This was with me playing with 4 other friends also. If you're gonna play PSO2 with premium, you might as well play FFXIV: ARR.

I guess I prefer to compare PSO2 to PSO, and only PSO. What bores me the most about the people I meet in-game is that they complain non-stop about the game, and constantly compare it to every MMORPG under the sun. Myself? I've been playing PSO for over ten years, and I have waited for this day to come. I suppose the game appeals more to people that have a similar mindset, rather than competing against other popular MMORPGs. To each, their own, I guess.

I play both PSO2 and FFXIV:ARR. Also WoW and Runescape when I so choose. Even though I don't really care for WoW, I'd still probably choose it over FFXIV:ARR, because of content and such(Maybe I'll change my mind over time) whereas PSO2 is so vastly different from those two, it should be nearly impossible to compare them. I feel like pvping and such? WoW. I feel like doing some missions and talking to people with similar interests? PSO2. Runescape is just a spice of mix between the two types. I just love making money on that game.

PSO2 is instanced which is why it got boring QUICK. WoW is in an unfair situation where it's been out for years and content is constantly coming out. It's established itself already. Runescape i don't know because i don't play it. FFXIV: ARR, i don't see it being any different from FFXII as it's lasted for years still as a P2P and content continued coming out for it also. FFXIV: ARR, given the time will establish itself with content also. PSO2 to me feels similar to the original Guild Wars as everything was instanced also. As for PvPing, obviously not implemented yet in FFXIV: ARR either but I think the next upcoming patch is supposed to bring it.

It might be an unfair situation, but it's still a real situation. I was pvping in FFXIV during beta, so I already know what it's like. Also I'm not too into GW2, it just didn't feel right to me. It's all a matter of preference and what you're looking for in a game.

Phantasy Star Online has always been instanced. It was a constraint of the hardware in the past, and now it is a core part of the game. Having game instances allows one important thing in order to keep things interesting: randomization of the map every time you enter. You'd have to play for quite a while to know all of the permutations. This was how it was in the past, and it was very impressive to keep things fresh by having them change every time you play. If PSO2 weren't instanced, I wouldn't play it.

I also played this game for abit, I think to level 5. LOL It got lonley without anyone to play with. Everyone of my friends who played this game are like levels ahead of me. It does get abit boring too..But I still am a huge PSO fan so I did like it for awhile. For now its just sitting on my desktop untouched. Lul. I am kind of waiting for the NA release or European release so I could play it in English but god knows when they finally decide to release it. e.e;

If anyone is looking for someone to play with in PSO2, send me a private message. I am on from time to time, and would prefer to play with like-minded individuals, rather than random people in the lobby. For those curious, my levels are HU 47, RA 1, FO 27, BR 1, FI 1, GU 1, TE 1.
