i've never once dreamt about a girl i liked, let alone dated. its always a random girl i've never seen before

I dreamt about all sorts but it always ends the same. Either I'm too nervous and the dream to talk to them and by the time I managed to gather the courage to either wake up or something prevents me from being able to get to them until I wake up or something along those lines.
