I heard it wasnt doing well in the shonen jump rankings so he was rushed at the end to finish. It was popular af in america tho i wanna say even more than naruto

I've gotta admit, I'm not sure if I'm alone on this but... I actually stopped caring about Bleach after the Soul Society Arc. I have no idea if it got better later on though it seems to have its shares of fans. And it was one of the big shonens for a fairly long time along with Naruto and One Piece. Though, I remember hearing many years back that there was a joke going around later down the road where Tite Kubo was trolling his fans at some point in the manga. Not that I read much of it or anything, but that was actually pretty funny somewhat. xP

yea not gonna lie, soul society arc was one of the best, the moment he trained so hard to get his Bankai, think he is all hot stuff the moment he thinks he can "match" Byakuya, till he gets rekt! xD (and my favourite Captain will always be Shunsui Kyoraku! While DAIGEN HYOUNIMARU is second)
