Well I mean what's best for everyone isn't always what's pretty morally. In a context where one life being lost would save many others, I would probably always go for the option where the majority are saved. In the grand scheme of things, that one life is sadly nothing. Those many other lives could possibly produce even more life or be children, or women carrying children themselves. And yeah, honestly I think speaking in absolutes is never productive. especially when it comes to morality. If you truly believe and practice that moral compass then more power to you, but yeah I honestly believe that people love to take the moral high ground when they have the opportunity to do so since it just makes them feel better about themselves
