Moving out is overrated tbh. I've never done it myself but unless home is some hellhole or theres some sort of abuse going on I dont see why theres some huge need to move out. I lost my job about a month ago and Im glad I never moved out or I'd be moving back in. I don't know what I wanna do with my life now so I'm currently an aimless unemployed bum. I do so envy people who know what they want

Oh, I get saving money. I was just being a smart ass. For me though, it was way less stressful to deal with the stresses of life than the stresses of my family. Moving out is great, when you can afford it. But, living at home can be beneficial if you're not just mooching and buying yourself toys without a thought for the futer. Edit: I'm still trying to figure out what I want out of life. I may be married and have a child, but nothing was linked up in other important financial areas of my life... Meh... Could be without work, again. Did that twice since moving out and it really sucked having to cash out my 401k just to make ends meet. Buuuut... Who needs to retire anyways?

If you’re living at home you should try to aim at saving half your paycheck. Obviously bills come before saving, but still.

Heh... More than half my pay check went to paying rent for living at home, when I was. Saved more when I was renting a room from craigslist. *Note Do not do, you may have a heroin addict roommate and cops beating on the door at 6 a.m. Well, I let them in to see him be dragged out.;P
