Novel in Progress

i was wonderin... if i post my novel in progress here could i get it read and get some feedback on it?? i would have to post in chapters because it's 50 somethin pages long so far

I've had similar thoughts and wouldn't mind giving you some feed back myself. However, there is one major obstacle that would prevent either of us from doing this and that is the character limit. You'd probably be able to get up two, maybe three paragraphs before it ate your post. If you can find a site that hosts text files and then link it here, you'd be set. Unfortunately, I'm unaware of any at the moment. It's something I'll have to research at a later date.

i would do the same but i have terrible grammar and punctuation it wouldnt be worth it

Yep, just upload a .doc file onto Google Drive and put the privacy settings on like "Anyone with this link can see but not edit." Google docs is how I got things done in group projects.

Yep, I used to hang out in a chat channel with a bunch of other fanfic authors, and docs in Drive are how we would get feedback. It's nice if they also have a Google account to sign in with, because you can enable them to make comments and suggestions without changing your document, and have collaborative conversations about them in realtime. It's great. ...aside from the fact that Google's document editor interface refuses to properly convert double hyphens to em-dashes. >.>

^^ I use Wattpad for all my stuff. I do love Google docs too
