Tales Series Fans?

I love the Tales series. I picked up Symphonia on a whim and played through that by myself, which is what originally got me hooked. Since then, I've played through the sequel, Abyss, Graces F, and Vesperia, which was easily my favorite. I also have both Phantasia and Legendia played halfway through. I have the Xillia Collector's edition sitting around, waiting to be played whenever I can get my team together. There's also Destiny and Destiny 2 on my 'to play' pile (unfortunately, I have about 20 games on my backlog). One of the things that made Vesperia so memorable was that it was the first one that I played with multiplayer. When you're able to have a group and everyone gets into their roles, so that you really gel as a team, it's really something else. Conversely, when you have a healer who thinks he can show you by not curing your status ailments or is browsing the internet instead of watching your life bar, you kind of want to get violent in the real world. Besides all that, though, I really loved the characters (Yuri Lowell was the man), their move sets, and the story. Plus, with synchronization and skills, there really was a lot of fun side stuff to keep you busy. I'd love to talk more about which ones I liked and disliked, as well as the reasons why, but seeing how story driven these games are, it'd be a huge spoiler risk, unfortunately.

wwwwhhhhhaaaaatttt xillia is out i failed as a tales fan but my fav and first is symphonia and symphonia 2 dawn of a new world, then vespiria and i like tales of the world for psp even though the others are in japan gotta get and play abyss legendia and phantasia

Tales of Symphonia and Vesperia. <3 I haven't gotten to play the other games. D:

Symphonia :D gamecube waiting on the chronicles since I hated part w on the wii vesperia on xbox 360 but got mad cuz it was missing stuff the jap one had :( graces is good playing xillia :D played abysss as well legendia but I kinda found it boring :\

Most Tales games take around 40 hours to finish, so it's definitely an investment of time. That said, my first play through of Vesperia was over 100 hours, because we were trying to unlock everything possible. Is there a certain place in particular you're having trouble with?
