I feel like meeting everyone and having a official maiotaku meeting, is never going to happen. You know how anime expo turned out. (Some of you might not get I meant) Honestly, and it's sad because it would be so cool to meet everyone. Or at least everyone in you're state. Make shirts and have a meeting like every month just to talk. But as I said, I think it's not even remotely possible. *tears* :( What do you think?

Group meetups are hard to organize, and get progressively moreso the more different people and schedules you have to accommodate from a broader area. The active population of MO seems pretty small and spread out, aside from a slight concentration in areas where it was advertised at a con.
Meeting up individually or in small groups seems like a more realistic goal.

I think it's possible, but like Amezuki said you have to take everyone's personal schedule into consideration and there aren't many people to begin with. It'd also be best to establish a very specific time and spot at least a few weeks in advance. I heard a few people successfully met at Otakon but I unfortunately didn't know about it until it was too late.

I agree with Amezuki. I think smaller meetups with the members who are closer to each other are the way to go.
If you happen to live near south-east Pennsylvania, I think the PA folk are going to try and get together at Zenkaikon. If you have to travel far for this, though, I don't think I'd recommend it. Zenkaikon seems to be one of the smaller cons. Otakon, on the other hand, is definitely worth the trip!
