Oh, this Friday I learned how to play the game
My cousin have been a fanatic for years and I finally decided to pick it up
I tried a lot of different decks to see what would fit me better, and now we will do a red/green deck for me so that I can go to events with him and start my path
I thought that it was harder than it is, but it isn't that complicated, it's really a lot of fun
if you need any help with deckbuilding or MTG in general id suggest looking at TheManaSource's videos on the Color pie and its Synergies with other colors and what the color combos are great at:
Or Tolarian Community College:
he has plenty of videos that go over everything from how to play, deck types and other things beginners should know
the vids i embedded here are part of playlists that should play in order once each video is done.
I haven't played MTG in a while. However, I believe I have something interesting to contribute here that my friends and I discovered once upon a time. Everyone who has ever played MTG knows it is an expensive hobby. Well, I give you this, a solution:
I only wish that magic the Gathering arena had a free play mode where you could play against friends and use literally any card but its prolly not going to happen even if it requires a five buck a month subscription
EDH is fun with a playgroup, but the decks can be very expensive. I have budget Teysa edh deck,I rarely win, but it's fun to play with the politics.
Honestly im trying to keep mtg expenses down now, so edh isnout if the question

Eh pacing takes forever and makes me hate it
