"Nothing" cannot exist because: To speak of a thing, one has to speak of a thing that exists. Since we can speak of a thing in the past, it must still exist (in some sense) now and from this concludes that there is no such thing as change. .....Came out a bit too nerd like.

Well you are right from that perspective. Heres a thought though Nothing has the purpose of being nothing because me saying that has gave it a purpose of being seen as something. To be seen as a target for the unknown that is nothing at least in the metaphorical form of it. At least thats my metaphorical take on it not the logical take because that one is much more long.

Nothing is something. Can one define that of which has no definition or name the unnameable? Everything has a purpose, even nothing.

By the time this thread is done we'll all probably be experts in philosophy, magic lamps, and blue poo. We'll all reach enlightenment yet.

Nonsense ^^ I am not superior to anybody here. I just am a person who has learned a lot being trapped inside most of my life. You are smart and you definitely have skills I would imagine. So keep note of this in case you are ever confronted with somebody with a high intelligence that thinks they are better. If they say the are do remember that being better is so used but variables and such are a plenty and people who would say they are better then you would have to go over each and every one to be truly correct. Lets just say the number of variables or what they are better for is insurmountable for anybody who would want to try.
