Does everyone get cycled through the featured otaku section? I don't know if this site will ever bring any of us closer. It's more of a giant greeting card. The forums usually have most of the same topics.

@Marna I definitely understand what you mean about the age gap. People around my age in general tend to have a fixed idea of what "adult" means, and that idea doesn't necessarily survive an encounter with my hobbies and interests (particularly the otaku ones). As such the demographics of this site tend towards the younger end. I'm not opposed to the idea of dating someone much younger than me--in fact, I'm probably more likely to find people in their 20s interested in the same things I am--but it's going to make me a lot more careful.

Thanks for the support. I went to a professional baseball game yesterday, there were so many good looking ladies. *nosebleed* I have put some effort into this site. Maybe I just need a break and should watch more anime.
