Trying to love the unloveable...

I just broke up with my gf of a year today... it really hurt when she just asked for money afterward... and said she was disappointed in me... I gave her everything... but she kept finding reasons to fight... has anyone been there before?

Ok to put it bluntly. Your EX gf is a total bitch. You did nothing wrong, she was the one at fault. Someone like her shouldn't deserve someone as awesome as you! And money wtf??? That just says she wasn't worth it. I'm pretty sure you'll find someone WAY better. :) I could write an essay about this but...ill just write some sentences.

While I don't think I've been dumped for being a deadbeat, I do think one underlying issue for a lot of woman who've dated me the fact I'm a bit of an introvert and anti-social even though they'll never say that's the reason they're not interested in me or are dumping me. I don't go out as much as a lot of other people and have never had the most out-going personality. Being a gamer and always having a quirky personality, they can never wrap their brains around dating a guy like that and want a more out-going "normal" guy even if they liked me quite a bit at first. My biggest problem isn't so much getting the "initial" date but they'll lose interest in me after a few weeks because they'll find something(s) they don't like about me and will then stop wanting to hang out and find excuses to not want want to talk to me or just stop talking to me all together.
