Everyone has to eat! Fast food should rarely be eaten it is terribly unhealthy for you and opens up many diseases for people who consume too much of it.

I cook, but mostly chinese food since that's what I ate growing up and that's all my dad can really teach me :P I don't think people can be that terrible at cooking. Not like the burning water, set things on fire bad. Since you know, eventually one has to live independently and it's kinda you figure something out or you starve/go broke

@xueli id love to learn how to cook traditional chinese foods! I know its very differnt from chinese fast food, and since there are so many take out places here in nyc I've never had real chinese food before.

I'm studying to become a chef and ive learned from my parents that have 20+ years of experience working in restaurants so naturally its been second nature to me :p

@darkmizuki is it hard to become a chef? Ive seen clips from those cooking ahows where that dude is always yelling at people. It looks stressing. @cantthinkofabettername haha I guess everyone is different. Maybe your body just manages to polish off all that fastfood!

@riffaffray at times it does get a bit complicated. especially when an instructor just gives you a bunch a random food and says ok make me something out of this and you're just like ............i think im fucked >.>. and Yea you mean Gordon Ramsay. He is a dick in the kitchen but overall he's a really nice guy. my dad got a chance to work with him for a few days and when it came to conversation he was calm as can be. Dinner service..........he was red the entire time lets leave it at that. he just likes to have things done right

@riffaffray There's a really big chinatown in NYC though! You should totally try someplace there. I can't give you any recommendations since I've never eaten there but it should be pretty legit

I like to cook for others - and if I didn't care for my partner's cooking, I'd let them know. Basically, like this: Me: "XXXX, can I tell you something important?" Her: "Yeah?" Me: "To put it bluntly, I want to cook from now on." Her: "Why? I like cooking." Me: "To put it inoffensively, your cooking doesn't match my palate." Her: "Alright." I can cook pretty well, and I am picky about how something is cooked so I prefer to cook myself when in a house. In eateries I will make it clear what I want done.
