PS4 anyone?

Only if its backwards compatible. I want one system that I can play 4 generations of games on. My PS2 needs to retire some day.

your copy paste from wikipedia is anything but a "life lesson" mav. seriously. think independantly. then you'll start to see the truth. sam, odds are everything for backwards compatibility will stream directly into the ps4 via the gaikai service. will be interesting to see how they charge for it and everything.

I don't know what happened to the thread but... @Dokujisoul I used to work at Gamestop too... for a whole 2 weeks. The place I worked at was such a shithole I'm surprised it's still in business. There was so much shady business going on, I was literally in a deer-in-headlights daze the entire time I was there. The "limit 10 per store" stuff all being pre-sold to friends, subscription sales being stolen (in some cases completely made up), "missing" merchandise, used discs swapped for new discs, employees and their friends swapping broken consoles for working used ones, etc. I think this franchise pretty much destroyed my love for gaming. That being said, I think people are stressing too much over the hardware specs for the PS4 than the actual games... There's too much emphasis on eye-candy and a lack of creativity and originality from the big studio releases lately. I hope they don't alienate the indie developers because I'm finding myself having more fun with unpolished indie games.

I've been too busy to really keep up with the ps4 discussions, but I generally wait to see. Gotta wait for all the kinks to work themselves out and for a better library of games. :p I don't think they'd actually do that no used games thing. It doesn't make sense from a business prospective. On the side topic, I'm pretty bipartisan. I vote for everyone based on their previous records, regardless of political party. I find that in my personal experience with people and politicians, there's always various degrees of conservatism and liberalism regardless if they're affiliated with republican or democrat. There's been a lot of mud slinging going on from both sides, neither one is the empire or the rebel alliance. If we want more bipartisan efforts then we have to vote for those that are more bipartisan. As citizens, we are directly responsible for every single person that's in office. That's all I have to say :)

Mav, the only reason politics was brought up in the first place was because you made a stupid ass comment, and now you're lecturing me on the topic, so no, I'm not trying to hear any of that noise. just leave it be man. we're not enemies, i got nothing against you, i just didnt appreciate it. Floatsinwater; that's not a concern man! Sony has actually really embraced the indie games and are going to even more heavily with the ps4! they are about making the best games from the best developers on the best platform and on the best network. all good things! xueli, for a launch like wii-u I would wait to see, but the ps4 is gonna have plenty of games worth playing right away. and there probably wont be any kinks to work out. they learned a lot of valuable lessons from the ps3 launch and i expect them to deliver on all their potential this winter!

I'll stick with my current Ps3 and get a Wii U. The Ps4 is a joke at first sight.
