I already made a rage thread about it.... under "so close".... biggest damn plot whole i have ever seen damn it! That final scene was so sad and beautiful, but yet sooooo bad..... i raged for hours.....

That did not solve my issue with the ending at all.... my issue was not otonashi staying, it was the god damn plot whole involving kanede and her having otonashi's heart...
