How did you find MaiOtaku?

Googled "Otaku dating Site." This was one of the only results that sent to an actual site. Signed up, then never logged on until today.

I was eatting my lunch and watching anime when out of no where a magical talking seahorse visited me in my underwater dome. He then said to me "im not your,you're MAIOTAKU" and I said huh this would be a great site name. I typed it in and it was taken then I paid it a visit, and here we are.

I got desperate for catgirls, and came here in hopes to find all of them. so yeah (really, i looked up dating catgirls as a joke and found this)

I was lonely, just got our of two devastating relationships, and hoped to find somebody I could relate with... but it just seems like I'm the creepy old guy nobody wants. >.>

Googled anime dating site. Funny thing is, I had a advertisement in the form of a business card in my wallet from 2009 at a convention. I thought would take a look and it looked promising, so I joined.

Funny thing is... It's not very promising.

I honestly think that MO just needs some more work, as in design. Then, actual advertisement to large social media like Facebook, Youtube, and Anime News Network. Maybe even sites like Rightstuf will assist? But until the site is better designed, MO cannot move forward.

My lonely friend said things like "wahwah cosplayer wahwah lonely wahwah." So I searched for things to make lonely otaku happy and found this, then decided I'd investigate. :P Sadly, my "friend" is too lame to try it. It's all good.

I have yet to see one site admin around, anywhere. No updates, no posts, nothing. Some kind of "hey, we're here, we care, we are trying" would be nice. I understand the lack of funding can result in crappy quality, but html us not really that hard, and you are foolish to try and run a profitable website without any computer knowledge, so I would have to believe they would know JavaScript as well... there are things that can be done to make the site slicker. I don't even bother posting suggestions to improve the site due to the lack of admin... anything. Hopefully they will read this, but make a section for site updates, where you post things you are doing/have done/plan to do (and accomplish). ... they won't though. IF I see some sign that the admins are around and do want feedback to improve, then I will post my list of things that can be easily implemented and would be helpful to users.
