Hmm true the mind is defintitely something capable of doing that the only fault i find in some people claims into future sights is that certain ones can be attributed to seeing so many realities and future simulations that one of them comes true and this feels like they saw it befor when in real life it was only a game of chance usually i have mine specifically i only gain sights when they happen i dont usually dream of the future unless im in a lucid dream where im in control of it or i get a sight that happens later usually when theses sights do happen they are somewhat negative and not postive one of the big things i wish to figure out and control is that but im wary that trying to do said thing could result in much risk for all i know it could be something that should not be messed with afterall although im not into the movie cliche of time being messed up if you mess with time I feel that time if it is there will be able to have already put you messing with it in its flow therefore its basically pointless to even try

Well summarized, I for one dont hesitate to try and exploit "bugs" in the code when they present themselves, in my experience major side effects are extemely rare .

Hmm true I like to research certain aspects of how the mind works how do you feel about the theory that the entire universe is a computer program i kinda am neutral to be honest i know it sounds ridiculous and trust me for the most part it is unless you go deep into the theory but it definitely could be a possibility just want your view on it

I am more inclined to believe that is the case than to rely on any explanations involving omnipotence and magic. I have been creating game rules/universe guidelines for tabletop roleplay since I was 7 and I have a big interest in prime numbers, as well as an overwhelming disposition for pattern recognition. Today it could be defined as an obsession, but I have actively been trying to "mess" with the source code of our universe for the past few years, although not hugely succesfull I personally am convinced that it is something very close to what we would call a simulator in which we all coexist. Simulations in themselves, are not meant as a microsoft flight sim kinda experience, it is much more akin to mathematical simulations like those Turing Ran on the A-Machine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turing_machine) in an attempt at determining wether it was possible solving the Infinity problem. As I have come to understand it, quantum physics actually dictates that we live in an infiniverse, or at the very least a massive multiverse.

In other words, everything we experience is a mesh of endless possibilities, depending on how "you" work, the reality we share might to the superstitous have demons that cause accidents, yet to logical onlookers the accident was an unavoidable result of Statistical posibility, yet to the passerby that believes in karma, it was just that, karma. IMO there is no "real" reality, it is a completely subjective experience, the tricky part is to figure out which threads to pull for desired results. The multiverse has been represented by a bunch of strings that constantly split with every decision, In my model it is much more akin to a thick cloth, every decision intervowes with the others to create a mesh that is solid enough to "stand" on (base you conjection about reality from / the mind can interpret the cloth, not the strings and patterns themselves). However if you can figure out which strings to pull how, when and where you could potentially alter the past of your experienced universe, wether you can actually retain any recollection from these now-non existant universes, is anyones guess, what impact it will have on other "potential unvierses" I cannot say either as this is a hugely confuysing field to even try to wrap your head around.

Fun topic. Wont be solved past theory state until someone brings pics.

Then in a shared reality, what's perceived as real is the net effect of a mass consciousness. That would leave individuals such as magicians as simply people with a more solid grasp on how to alter the strings of that reality.

... sigh ... Another dead old thread dug up by wallace in puppy form. @ jinsei Magicians work with illusions, there is a science behind it. And people believe whatever they choose to believe, that is our base modus operandi as humans. If multiple realities do exist, it would come from a ripple effect from a starting point. If said starting reality were to cease to exist would all others also cease to exist? Who knows. Wormholes, rifts, time travel, space travel through zero point, it is all mere theory and speculation. It would be nice if it existed but for now it all a pretty idea for a bunch of people unfortunately.
