No, when the gardisel shot First came out.. they did advertise that it protected against hpv. They never said specific strains. After a year of it being in use, they changed the commercials and stuff to be more specific of what strains.

And there were small payouts/compensation about 4 years ago for the ones who filed against the company and hospitals (specifically the doctors that looked their patients in the face and said they wouldn't get hpv.

@VigeoRae I don't buy the crap on anti-vaccine sites. I'm very familiar with pharmacology. I've never heard it advertised as protecting against all HPV strains, nor do I think any doctor would tell you that it does. In all the cases of adverse effects from the vaccine (which isn't even very common) is that 94% are non-serious cases that involve fainting, nausea, pain at the injections site which is understandable given that it's a very painful shot and then the other 6% that are serious (meaning they involved death) there has been no evidence that the cause of death was linked to the vaccine.

Also sorry we're kinda highjacking your thread. Cervical cancer is definitely manageable and also pretty treatable. Don't let it hold you back from anything you want ya know? Gotta live life to the best with whatever you have and all right? :P

it ok you all was just trying to help its fine it just it does get hard from time to time and hpv will change alot of things alot in sex and in love i was hoping while confessing ill might meet my prinnce chamring on this topic who comes out and say he has hpv 2 soooo we can live happily ever after lol silly i know.
