Those Actively Looking

kawaiidango
Aniki sounds cuter than onii chan especially if they are a tsundere. I have a big brother and I always call him onii chan but he finds it annoying XP and I did say something!! And he said yes! :3 hooray I'm not single anymore!

*tip-toes in* *looks around* *throws confetti into the air* I'm here, I guess. Hello, everyone!

I'm here! .. Surprisingly. Buwahaha while actively looking, I see the convo has fallen upon the whole onii-chan thing. I wouldn't mind calling someone that. I'd be alright for the whole big brother thing. Someone who wouldn't mind having a little sister.

I would never call my boyfriend "Oniichan". For one, it's demeaning for the guy. "Chan"? Seriously? I'd only call my younger siblings or my dog by that honorific. I might call him that jokingly, though. "Oppa" and "Xiao Xing Gan" would fall into the same category. In serious conversations, I'd call him by either his name or "anata" (the closest thing in Japanese to "dear" or "sweetheart"). I call my sister "Oneechan", but only because she's the younger of two big sisters and things could easily get confusing if I called them both "Oneesan". However, I call my parents by possesive forms of their Hebrew titles: "Imi" and "Avi". Yeah. Five different language can often be heard in one conversation at my house... LOL

-shudders- no to the Oni-chan.

LOL Yeah... Besides, wouldn't it be better to just speak English? Using other languages is fine, I guess, but only if both people involved are familiar with it and understand what the term means.

True true. But the people I know all know what I am saying. Unless I use sign language. Then I'm usually calling them stupid or some thing of the likes.
