Woke up and found the world was still here I am disappoint Now I've got to get ready for one more day of work

heh! nice. but isnt it supposed to end at midnight tonight or something? ive heard both theories and the one at 6:11 this morning is..... well, its shot lol but i honestly dont look for anything to happen. i figure this: if the world did indeed end today we would be powerless to stop it. so im really not all that worried, rather just bored and seeing what everyone else has to say

Perfect chance to shout about Goku, and you pick the doctor? A few fun concepts: The Mayans never predicted the end of the world. That was a myth created by an ignorant mass that didn't really do their research, just caught an idea and ran with it. The uncovered Mayan calendar is a circular stone slab. Note the word circular. The calendar ends because.... It's effin' circular. You can't just keep going. In the same area where archaeologists discovered the infamous stone slab, they uncovered a SECOND stone slab, which depicts more dates and predictions. Thus, the world does not end with just the one slab. Finally, the predictions on the slabs are ambiguous. It's kinda like saying "In seventeen years the serpent shall arise." Politician? Wisdom-keeper? Really horny guy? Just a few thoughts to chew on.
