Thanks for the suggestions everyone and sharing your experiences. I might try the melatonin sometime, I like to use the least harsh method when it comes to medicine. Also could try the tea too.

I've had insomnia and restless legs for most of my life. There's been multiple times that I've gone a full week with no sleep. When I was younger I smoked bud to get to sleep on those sort of nights but choose to stay away from that sort of stuff now. If you suffer from insomnia often try setting a sleep schedule for yourself and make sure to be up at a certain time no matter how much sleep you get. You can also work out or just do physical activities every day to drain your body. When I was in the boot camp I never once had trouble falling asleep!! Lol :D I've never found the effects of melatonin to be too strong but it's worth a shot. Also like tea, you could try a glass of warm milk. Seems to work nicely imo.

I've had to deal with it all my life. Listening to certain types of music helps a little. Sleeping pills make me feel as if I've been drugged. I don't like them...
