He was just surprised I think at your reaction and thought it was worse than it really was. I find stuff like that to be disturbing but just my take, I don't judge others preferences as long as it doesn't bother people in the process. Pretty lax about things of that nature as long as I'm not forced to watch/read/listen to whatever.

When I say "stuff like that" I mean I'm not into yuri or yaoi at all, completely outside of my comfort zone and not interested in it. I can deal with minor hints of it in stories but not gonna watch/read something where that's the main topic/forefront idea if I can avoid it. Not judgmental, just not interested in that.
