hey you can call me mika-chan I'm from MI and a friend introduced me to this site. i'm 19 and always wanted to do cosplay but never really had the time or money for the con's. I'm also looking for more friends as well as love in a fellow otaku but i am in collage so not much time for looking just message me and see.

I'm new, myself. I joined a few days ago. Um, cosplay-wise, I've never done it, mostly because I live in a semi-rural county with no anime groups or anything like that. However, if I was to be able to go to a con, I suppose I COULD cosplay. The question is...as who? I'm interested overwhelmingly in female characters - to the point where I really don't care what happens to male characters.

It's been a few days after joining but i suppose better late then never? 19, from Ontario (its in Canada for those who're asking themselves "where's that o-O?") Long-term goal is finish off college, move my butt to Japan and get into anime or manga ^^ (Yes i can draw, among other artistic-y things) Im into pretty much any anime (Also applies for music taste) Shoujo titles seem to dominate a huge portion of my manga collection tho. I've attended at least 4 or more years worth of cons, tho i always seem to be too busy to start preparing a cosplay untill its too late >_<... If theres any questions i usually have no problems answering. Basically looking just to meet some newg people, and one interesting girl. Feel free to leave a message or whichever, i'll try to reply of course ^^

How goes it? Screen name's kinda standard, so I'll start with: "my name's John, and I'm a card-o-holic". I'm mainly trying to make friends on the Eastern side of Massachusetts, or even North or not too far West. Mainly a Yu-Gi-Oh! nerd and a Narutard, but I do try and keep an open mind for other things.
