why won't women make the first move?

I sometimes start conversations with people I find interesting, like Masuji. I saw some of his stuff when he first started on here and chatted with him a lot after saying hey first. Also said hi to Sandman (Rob) when he first joined and talk to him here and there. Just really depends on the girl and who she's talking to I think.

Thanks. And really I think people should start out as friends before they move forward from that. Some people just feel like they don't have many and want to make some that have similar interests in the meantime. I know I've made a few since being on here. Masuji is fun to talk to and share stuff with, esp. after I introduced him to Vocaloid songs.

Well, not everyone is meant to date each other and may not feel like an immediate relationship is in order. Rushing into things like that can cause problems, which I think most users on here have had before and would like to not continue if possible. This is kind of a site where getting to know others comes first and dating is secondary, for when they feel ready. Yes, this is primarily a dating site, but it's a place to make friends and talk about interests on. Things aren't always as they seem on the outside.

Aww Kitsune, thats very nice of you. I enjoy your company as well. I'm more on the less likely to initiate conversation side of guys, so upfront women are always appreciated. Most women in our society are mentally conditioned to not act that way towards men, its a shame however as I like when people are straight up with me. I'm trying to be the nice guy who is just interested in making friends, as I prefer to not initiate my friendships with acting like Bri-kun does (Not calling him out, just a different method I guess). Women seem to always appreciate someone who listens to them and takes what they say seriously. I have friends who talk about stuff I don't necessarily understand but I use it as a learning experience, learning something new.

It would be good to see females make the first move. At times it can be seen if the guy makes the first move the conversation moves really fast which makes the female less interested overall. This is not always the case but can happen.
