I'll start this off with a VN recommendation, the one that the character in my pfp is from (Sherry Tachibana if you're wondering). The name of the VN is Magical Girl Witch Trials and yes, as you guessed, it's about magical girls and witches! The premise of the game is about 13 girls waking up in a prison and finding out they will have to hold a Witch Trial to find out who the witch among them is. The game has been out since 2025 but it will be getting an official English translation on Steam later this year. It also has a fan translation that you can find online, which is the one I played. Now then, what I enjoyed about the game were the cast which were all endearing and had colorful personalities, the soundtrack that was really good and fitting for the setting, the plot that was well-written with interesting lore and unexpected plot twists and finally the really cute and charming illustrations. I highly recommend you to check it out if you like games such as Danganronpa or Your Turn To Die and grim magical girl shows such as Madoka Magica or Magical Girl Raising Project!

I've heard of Fata Morgana and Muv Luv, but I haven't gotten around to reading them. I love Katawa Shoujo though! Kinda funny it originated from 4chan lol. Which is your favorite route?

Rin left the most impression on me but i also only played her and Emmys route. Lily and burnt girl were uninteresting to me.

I've only played Rin, Emmy and burnt girl's routes, but only part of Lily's route. Rin is a great character, her route is my second favorite! Hanako's route is actually my favorite (she's the burnt girl) XD
