@gabriel_true Day 49: That pasta I talked about yesterday, we ate that with garlic bread today, it was very delicious. We also had a very fancy looking version of mozzarella sticks for a appetizer, but it was a ball with fancy crust, and the cheese in those things might have actually been better than the one's in regular mozzarella sticks. Like...it was very stretchy, delicious and gooey the way it stretched when you bit into it (but it wasn't the cheap kind...so...lol), so that's pleasing to have a beautiful cheese pull. Our mom also got us salami, crackers and a fancy new French cheese for us to try. All of this food was free, which is why we had more expensive foods lol, but the cheese wasn't bad actually. It definitely tasted like what I imagine fancier cheeses taste like, and while it isn't the best cheese I've eaten, it did pair really well with the meat. Maybe because of the creamy texture of the cheese, I kind of wanted to taste it with a meat that has maybe a more smokey taste or something? I'm no cheese expert lol, but those were my thoughts when eating that specific type of cheese. @gabriel_true Day 50: Wow! We're officially on day fifty, Gabby, congratulations! I don't know why I'm congratulating you? Because: 1. You aren't even here, and 2. You aren't writing things down; I am. But, congratulations are in order since we made it to day fifty anyway, so yay! I ate some sausage and rice for dinner (the good sausage, of course) and my sisters and I made short conversation with this little boy we see coming home from school everyday at 3 o'clock. He keeps getting bolder each time he passes by us lol, cause he actually said hello today rather than waving, and even told us how a fight broke out in his school (he wasn't involved though, so we told him good job on it). My eldest sister is thinking of giving him twenty dollars when he walks by tomorrow, just because it's Christmas time and he's a kid, so why not? I'd also pitch in an give Kendrick Jafaar (that's what we named the boy since we don't know his name, which is fair, cause we're strangers) some cash...but I don't have anything sadly. There was, however, another adorable little boy that walked by with his mom...he was younger than Kendrick, so this boy was probably like 6-7 years old, and he saw my sisters and I eating chicken on the brick outside and shouted out to us what we were eating. He continued to scream questions at us as his mother dragged him away XD, it was adorable and our eldest sister is also considering giving that boy some cash too. I hope it happens! @gabriel_true Day 51: We successfully gave little Kendrick his twenty dollars today. He was a very smart kid and didn't just allow our eldest sister to approach him or reach out to give him the money, but he backed away a good enough distance and politely requested she place the money on the floor, then when our sister came back across the street, he picked the money up. He definitely did better than those three neighbor girls of ours: Bi-Bi, Buggy and Mi-Mi lol, cause they were trying to be all up in our space and they don't even know us. Other than that, nothing much happened today. Our mom also got us hot chocolate, each of us has two packs of it, so that's good!
