Don't think i ever ate any japanese food. Really wouldn't know what to try first.

@katenoid - Hard to find a good bottle of Sake where I am at, course I need to import it most likely too but Quality over Quantity and day!

There's a liquor store near me that sells about 8 different types. I don't like the milky sake. That's so gross. I like the plain, dry sake. It's smoothest. But I don't drink it that often. I really just use it for my Kamidana as offering.

I only got 2-3 here but its very cheap, I am going to import something for $50 though so fingers crossed to see if its good.

I like the sashimi and sushi stuff like sea urchin, squid, and all the raw fish but I don't think it's all that good in Texas as compared to like... LA. Maybe it's a supply thing or that the better chefs are on the west coast. :/ Actually asian food in general is better in California than in Texas. I'm jealous :(
