what's a good app for learning japanese

niwatori
it's not an app but jisho.org with its radicals and dictionary are really useful. rikaikun on browser lets you scroll over kanji and learn about them. There was another add-on that scanned image-text and converted it into text but I've forgotten it. Does anyone know the name of that addon?

Don't forget, you must absolutely read some materials ! Read Kanji out of context is useless ! You can begin reading after to have learned 300~ kanji minimum.

I've heard it's not really good to study to much each day. I normally try to do 1 or 2 hours a day if I can

TAKO SENSEI is a pretty easy and fun app you can use to learn the japanese alphabeth, while, DUALINGO is a useful app to learn of structure of the sentences in japanese; but as a hint, you can learn, while watching anime and repeating the character lines to memorise it and learning how use some words ;D Dont pressure yourself when are learnng a new idiom, just take your own pace to learn
