2022 Brazilian General Elections

nebelstern
I expect a bloodbath in the following months.
nebelstern
Lula's election is the fault of a single man: Jair Messias Bolsonaro
nebelstern
93,10% of the votes counted, 9 millions of votes remain. The difference between Lula and Bolsonaro is of 1 million votes. It's extremely unlikely he will turn against Lula.

Bolsonaro could just accept and buy the vaccines and be a mediocre government, and he would be elected. People have died due to his speeches minimizing the pandemic and being an antivaxx. And that buffoon didn't have the humanity and competence to do neither. In 2018, people were ashamed to support Lula in public. And that fucker managed to bring him back.

He was also responsible for releasing Lula from jail by putting a bootlicker in the Supreme Court. So he is the only one to blame. I apologize to my consciousness for voting on that bastard in 2018.

Right-wing physiologism will return to its former glory, and they will LOVE to parasite on Lula's government. They have confirmed that regardless of the government, they will be able to do their shittery.

Well, 99,87% of the votes counted. Lula wins with 50,90% of the valid votes against Bolsonaro's 49,10%
nebelstern
118 million votes. Lula got 60 million votes compared to Bolsonaro's 58 million. 5,6 million votes were blank (mine) or null. Fun to think the group I chose could define the election.
nebelstern
Honestly. I called it. I knew Tarcísio (a freaking carioca) would win here in São Paulo and Lula would win the run.
nebelstern
Haddad just sucks. He lost for São Paulo's (the city) mayor against João Doria in the 1st round (apex of anti-petism) in 2016, lost for president to Bolsonaro in 2018 (due to basically being Lula's puppet candidate since he was in jail) and now lost for São Paulo's (the State) governor to Tarcísio, who is from Rio.
