The cultivation of plants/flowers is crucial to our development of an advanced culture for food, medicine, clothing, etc. and jewelry is an acquirment of precious metals, gemstones. They were believed to have magic powers that's why kings wore them. Gold is a very useful metal used in computer systems. Gemstones have been used for healing for millennial. There is also emerging technology of using gemstones to record computer data. Nothing unmanly about any of those interests.
