I only actually support freedom of speech because if anything more radical I personally support against it would but bring disaster to the Nation. If I want Commies to be silenced, then I know someone will try and use my sentiment to silence all opponents, which happen to be Communists by chance. But it isn't as if I defend freedom of speech because I think it's golden and all great. No, people lie and spread misinformation and can get away with it. But without it, things become worse.

That's why I am so vocal against intersectional theory and woke shit. In the bottom, all their interlocutors want to shut down anyone they call a "bigot".

Cancel culture is the backbone of why companies even pretend to have an opinion in politics. Like who fucking cares what coke thinks? Just fucking make soda lmao. I think the future of decentralized internet is looking promising though. Its gonna be quite the paradigm shift.

wtf no, companies constantly pander to the general public all the time that pepsi riots thing wasn't regarding cancel culture, it was because they wanted to virtue signal, and it ended up tone death because of it you say 'just make soda' but its profitable to have a good public image and brands are always trying to be appealing, whether its using attractive people in ads or having celebs endorse them, virtue signalling is no different then the latter. its just a way to sell something

think of it like this, theyr expanding their audience they always appealed to straight white men, so they have that audience, so why not pander to other audiences as well? companies have no souls, they purely appeal to stock holders, and it just happens that being "woke" is popular, because it casts the widest possible net to encapture consumers

why? woke people include white men and women, poc, and people in the lgbtq audience why only appeal to a small margin of people when you can just pander to the majority? clearly it works, or else companies would stop doing it

im not saying its good or bad either, idc if a company says "trans rights are human rights" because i know its not coming from an altruistic place I'm just arguing that its just the same as using a popular celeb to sell something, its all just to make people consoom
