i won the debate against wolf, mio, and a handful of others who couldnt back up their points with facts i wanna say i won against burning but that was a bad debate from the start i shouldnt tackle a debate where im factually trying to show someone why they should be vegan thats why i prefer ethics, so things dont get muddles but i still think he couldnt properly defend his points and it came down to "i dont feel bad for the animals i eat" without being able to fully expand on that but you can keep vague posting if you like https://media.tenor.com/images/4af390d8650ece64aa0207c76bc75e23/tenor.gif

To be frank, the most eloquent and brilliant of philosophers that I’ve ever read or encountered were often the most humble of individuals. Who’s “right” or “wins” is not important, Philosophical discourse is a means of coming to truths about issues we find meaningful enough to delve into. You’re both spending a lot of time praising yourselves and critiquing one another, and zero time debating anything aside from your own merits. That’s nothing against you as people or an attack on either of you, but that’s what I’m seeing here.

this is what people seem to assume and it bothers me that because im vegetarian (was and plan to be vegan again) i must think im morally superior to everyone and i want to debate so i can show them how superior i am this isnt true in the slightest i hate myself i know im shit and i know all ill ever be is shit i dont want to convert you, i dont want to make myself look good i want to have a debate where both sides clash like a mental battle field, our wits being our swords
