Go to some local or regional conventions. If you're going to college, see if they have an anime club. Definitely ways to meet girls with similar interests to you, but you sometimes have to put yourself out there and actually approach people and talk to them.

MJP is right, you'll get through it. I've never had a significant other but I try my best to put myself out there. I go to my anime club despite not having much in common with many of the others there. One thing for me is I neither want a dumb barbie chick nor one of the women who who are uber eccentric, which narrows my selection even further when you account common interests. I am kind of selective so I barely have any friends that are women that I'm interested in. I'm realistic: If the relationship is set up to fail why waste my time? Because of my own social quirks I don't attract many friends. Despite this I go to online dating sites like this and I put myself out there and I honestly try to be honest. I'm not going to lie to a woman I may want to share my life with.

the best advice i can give is to stop looking for relationships, let fate take a turn. I gave up on relationships for the moment and realized im much happier single and free to be nuts!

Nut up or shut up. Pain is what makes you stronger, it's what makes you a man. The more loneliness and suffering you go through, the more alpha you become. If you keep it up then you will eventually become a wizard.

Being lonely is better than being in a relationship that would really not be what you want. I would suggest to keep looking and when you see somebody you think might be cool to chill with then take your shot!! Go after the ones you think might be the ones because you will never know if you were the one they have been looking for in a long time
