Thank you to everyone that shared with me their thoughts and experiences. It gave me a lot I do wish to talk about, but I have been purposely slow to explain how God has been leading me to understand the Scriptures. In essence I want to be comfortable with what I am reading before I say something off regarding the Lord's messege.
For I am no prophet nor anointed messenger. Merely a fellow follower doing his best to live up to our Heavenly Father's great will!
I've learned so much in these last couple weeks that gives me renewed purpose and faith in what Christ wants from all creation. I've been thankful despite my own shortcomings that Jesus still has patience. Thank you dearly Father and most Holy Brother, Jesus the Christ!

Most definitely, I invite you to do immense studying. Not only within the bible, but outside the bible as well. While the bible specifically states the laws and rules we must follow under God's command, outside sources help paint a clearer picture of scripture if you are struggling to understand certain concepts. DTBM i believe on youtube, dives into alot of prophetic stuff within the bible and breaks down the word of God at the academic level. It would also help to look at stuff such as the history of the canaanites and other tribes found among the people of the time. Only in the sense of understanding historic events and the wicked acts performed at those times and how to spot them in current modern day society.
Ultimately, God will lead you to where you need to be, so dont take what im recommending to heart. Its what has worked best for me, but each believer is different. The one thing that doesnt change is the absolute word of the lord our God. Please share your journey whenever possible.

@hell_hound7 Amen, brother! I did see a video talking about the Canannites worship of Molech who is referenced multiple times by Moses as the greatest of evils.
Mainly because they would burn babies alive to fulfill their darkest desires. I could see how Israelites would have been as strict with their commandments after witnessing that level of depravity!

Well it wasnt the Israelites, God specifically wanted the children of Israel to abstain from sacrificing to molech. He also wanted them as they dwell in lands where the other nations surrounded to not be influenced by their pagan ways. Things such as the cutting of the skin, goat demon worship, molech sacrifices, idol carvings, etc. There is also similarities in the sacrificing to molech with the sacrifices to the lord. It can be seen as a mockery of the most holy acts.
Edit: sorry i just finished Leviticus in the ESV like 2 hours ago, so its fresh on the mind lol

I was confused on the initial part about "It wasn't the Israelites." In Leviticus they are referred to as such. Unless we're talking someone else that Moses was leading through the Canaanite's territory, haha!

No i thought you were saying the Israelites came up with the strict laws forbidding against the worship of molech. I was saying that wasnt the Israelites that came up with it, but God himself that commanded them to do it. Sorry i misunderstood.

I encountered an interesting part within the book of Revelation. In particular about people who serve Heaven being dressed in white clothing. I expressed previously that since I was a child I have always been able to dream not only in color, but experience the 5 senses too. Though I dream often as I did last night, not everything holds significance. Yet whenever I had a dream with someone in white clothing that experience stayed with me to this day. Even dreams I had as a teenager I remember vividly.
So I bring that up because Revelation makes multiple mentions of Heaven's people being represented in such attire.
To the Church in Sardis
"To the angel of the church in Sardis write:
Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Revelation 3:4-6

John 18:36-37
"My kingdom is not of this world...I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born...to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
John 12:44-48
"When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me...I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day."
