nerve gear SAO best idea ever or scary as hell

me personally would love it if it cam out i would be on milk cartons cuz no one would ever see me again altough the tought of getting mentally locked up would scare me but there's no way in hell i would pass up the chance to be in a game instead of holding a controller :P

Yeah its awesome and something i could see happening in the future. Ppl would so die tho, they get so involved and just stop eating and taking care of their bodies.

There's pros and cons to head mounted systems like that for completely immersive gaming experience. I'd like to try it, but I'd worry about getting locked into it where I couldn't get back to reality. I think they would have to be extensively tested before release and maybe would tell someone (like a family member) that I would be playing so they could check in on me if something went wrong. Also would need a recommended playing time amount before you would need to take a break.
