is family important to you?

My family is kinda messed up as well, I'm closer to my dad's side though. I find my siblings to be important so I help them how I can and also for other relatives. I avoid certain relatives for certain reasons, though.

I don't see importance in family. I know people teach that kind of stuff, but, to me, it's like saying "These people should be important to you, because they're blood relatives." It seems to me that friends and romantic partners should mean more, since those are people that you choose. You have no choice in family.

I would say family is important to me but considering I am far away from my dad's and mother's side of the family I do not have to deal with them as much as others not too sure if my opinion matters.

I think family is important. It's not even really a cultural thing since asian people don't traditionally value daughters. When you (female) get married, your family sees you as leaving the family to join your husband's family. But I think everyone's individual experiences shape how you view them.

Family is so important to me I love my sister, my mother, and My father... Oh my parrot too!
