Yea we kinda torn or giving it benefit of the doubt cause our culture is kinda conservative, but at same time we also trynna make progress towards being open or accepting...But if I was in that situation I would also feel uncomfortable...I mean, I do not mind skin to skin interaction if I've known the person long enough, but with someone I just met? It's a no for me...With my personality it also takes time for me to warm up...Also since we are all in law school we are always like asking for consent...Well...I hope they just sort things out haha

In my culture people put their arms around you, will hug you, give you kisses on the cheek, etc. Even when you barely know each other. Here in California, tho its a little bit more conservative when it comes to that but not as much as it seems to be where you are. Glad your friend let the person know they need to stop, the worst is when something is making you uncomfortable but you allow it to go on. What did you think? You think they had ulteriormotives?

Well...Im judging cause it's not a normal thing here. Doing something to someone without the latter's consent makes me want to judge more. lmaooo

When I was in the military, it was everywhere, but the difference is that both people were in on it, and it was mostly a joking manner. I've been to and seen that some countries and even state are more open and comfortable with it and see nothing wrong with it.

@Amarantha - I totally get that, especially if its not the norm. @criselington - It's exactly like that here. It can be annoying, trying to work and some dude comes by and harasses you.
