Part of me wants to just leave a spirit box app open mid turkey dinner, but I don't think the family would appreciate hearing grandma, grandpa, or my brother as often as I do. Have to remember, a lot of folks think that stuff only happens at halloween, (or rather they only want to think about it at halloween) and it might be in poor taste to have my grandpa cussing my dad and my uncles out in fragmented snapshots of conversations after we've finally managed to put politics and stuff aside. Spiritual eclipse observations. I had two spirits assisting. (My brother and someone I met at Fairfield County Infirmary.) And afterwards, I asked them some questions with the dowsing rods. The second time, I was a little further from the source. While there wasn't an increase in the energy, it did feel more saturated than usual. I felt like my hands were actually wet the second time. I was in a controlled environment. There was a definite change. More powerful and more easily accessed. Think of it as an element of dark energy that is uncorrupted. The best way to describe how it felt in drawing upon it was that it was instantaneous. More potent than even negative dark energy. According to clarification questions, my energy was no more or less strong, but both seem to think it changed in a different way. They're an astral haunting, not an etheric, which means a good deal of their interactions with us are psychological more than physical. Poltergeist activity is more of an etheric phenomenon, and often the result of predatory elementals, etheric revenants, or elementaries (Like elementals, but born from human energy) who attach themselves to the right individual. It doesn't normally overlap with demonic hauntings until the later stages of possession. And truth be told, it is really hard for someone of sound mental health to get possessed. Stay objective, and stay out of the placebo effect.
