So... why does our society place such an importance on labeling? So here is my view we like the people we like. I am open to anyone they are they make me feel good on a deeper level. I never met a guy who made me feel like that but that does not mean i am against the idea. The only people who i fell for are female... But if someone made me feel good, happy, needed, and interested in them i dont see why gender, race or a anything else matter...

Accusations and labeling come about as a part of ignorance, envy, greed etc, basically any negative emotion or state of being that causes someone to want to gain power over anyone around them. I'll use several examples here: current, personal and historic
Current Example: LGBT discrimination Causality: Ignorance
The primary opposition to the LGBT movement is the Abraham conglomerate (Christian, Jew, Muslim). All of these related religions reference passages in Deuteronomy, Romans and Qu'ran 7:80. However, all of these passages subliminally suggest murdering these people.
Personal Example: Being Labeled 'Racist' Causality: Envy
I was called a racist, a serial killer or whatever you may think of by a community of low income white and black people in high school. I made it really clear I wanted nothing to do with people who were uneducated, misogynist or otherwise distasteful. I was approached and harassed several separate times by several black women whom I did not particularly like. Because of their defenses of me being a 'racist' when we were called into the discipline dept. I had to explain to the Principal that I did not like associating with people who were of their character. They accepted the defense when, day's later the same incident happened with a white woman who was equally of distasteful main character.
Thus I had to clarify that I do not culturally identify with most black people I met in high school, thus why I hung out with Asian and Caucasian people, me being of the latter.
Anyways a historical example:
Historical Example: Holocaust, Causality: Greed, Envy
In Germany post WWI everyone had been hurt by the war, their homes destroyed and the Weimar Republic consumed by stagflation. Out of all the ethnic groups Jewish people were an easy target: They were better off than most, they weren't Christian, they had been previously targeted several times in the past.
