Indie Game Hub

So I was going through the indie game Cathedral recently and realized that there is virtually no info about the game. Now some of you are like well no duh it's an indie game, what do you expect? That's just the thing though, it is an indie game and there is like no info and yet you have other games that you can say are "indie" and yet you can find tons of info about those games. So what am I getting at here? I want to see if you guys have had similar experiences with indie titles in the past. Do you find it refreshing to not find much info about a game you are playing? (ie more like the old days) Perhaps any indie games you would like to share that don't get enough love? Would be great to see what others think about indie games in general.

I think that's because the original term of "indie" game meant like a small obscure team or 1 person making the game (ex. like flappy bird or cave story). Or some games that were obscure for a long time and then over time as people found it became super popular but started as indie (ex. Like corpse party which was made In 1996 but became famous in the 2010s.) But nowadays "indie" means a small company that is not triple A or mainstream company. However because of the price of making games everything is being called indie nowadays even when it's actually not. To me true obscure games that nobody knows is what I consider Indie but everyone has their own definition.

https://youtu.be/kBJG-7saQOQ The best truly obscure Snes game hands down is Super godzilla. It's a 10/10 game that nobody knows about. The game you walk around and try to avoid tanks and stuff and get to the boss area where you fight a classic godzilla kaiju. But the last 2 levels you can become super godzilla (super Sayian godzilla basically its dope) and fight a last boss Kaiju that was supposed to be in a movie but is only in the game. It's a tough but truly awarding to finish game. There is no game that plays like it, if you just want a unique experience play it. The kaiju fighting and move system is unique only to this game. There is no game that is like it.

Yeah this is the kinda stuff I am talking about it. I agree too. Indie should really be more like obscure. That Godzilla game you brought up I didn't even know about as well. Now I am interested to try that.
