Where there is actual religious based legislation that will get you killed for being gay. Name me the a law or statute that will legally kill someone for being gay in the US. Genocides happened in places like 1930's Nazi Germany, Stalin's Solviet Russia, Mao's China, etc. Someone being mean to the gays is not equivalent to genocide. Use your brain.
