@hell_hound7 now imma need you to go and tell me where i said you have to have a job and go to school, because i dont think you even read that discussion if thats your take away from my point the discussion was actually just some conjecture derail that focused around the fact that not all choices are actually choices (i know you didnt read the discussion because im literally making the point that people have no reasonable option. our opinions are the same on this, you disagree with umi, not me)

You said they arent choices. Beyond this i read nothing else so I have no idea what was actually said after.

Vaccine mandate and not being given a choice yes they are the same thing. But not being able to live without a job isnt necessarily true. Because you CAN live without a job the homeless do it all the time. So you have the choice to not work. But you dont have the choice in the case of a vaccine mandate. Those being fired from thier jobs they spent all their lives doing off a personal medical choice is the same as saying if you get pregnant and cant work the same you get fired.

Your hypothetical IS basically the covid mandate. That is not a choice. What i mean by choice is i dont agree with this job so im gonna leave and go to another job. That is choice. Or i dont like any jobs so im gonna not work. That is choice. Covid mandate is basically, i wont drink the glass of water even with the gun there, but i will drink this water in the glass out of a bowl. Because even if you leave that job that is forcing you to get the vaccine in the case of doctors and nurses. Where do you go? To another place with vaccine mandates?

Essentially you quit because you dont have a choice. Not because it was your choice in the first place. Totally different than just becoming homeless because you dont wanna work

yes, we agree, im glad wev come to that conclusion but you arent answer my 'choice' question when does choice become coercion? is quitting your job really a choice when the looming threat of instability is there as a deterent? i say that no longer makes it a reasonable choice, and leads into coercion (im not necessarily proscribing any morality to it, im only saying that it is that)
