None of these are smart. Afghanistan is a lost cause. The correct action was not let the taliban take over. With 200,000 taliban there is no way the government can face up against that when even the Americans couldnt do it anymore. Their support system in America is gone. China or russia will most likely work with the taliban for their own benefits. No one is coming to save Afghanistan. Us pulling out is basically a death sentence for any sort of hope they have. No one wants a 20 year unwinnable war. The only way afganistan is getting out of this is to round up all the people who want real freedom and level the rest. You wont be able to run from the Taliban. Run to where? What country wants refugees? Afghanistan had one chance to defend themselves and they didnt have the will for it. The taliban have a passion for their cause. The Afghans got complacent after 20 years and now its over. Waving a flag only worked when Americans were there to protect your right. Also us leaving a bunch of military equipment is basically a big fuck you to whoever moves in there lol the taliban have an air force now. Big ass reflection on American society today.
