There was a story from my great uncle Vassiliev who was in the Imperial Russian Army fighting on the Ottoman front. The Turks had taken Armenian soil early in the war so when the Imperial Army came to kick their ass they were left with a horrific sight. Entire villages burned down, people rounded up and burned inside buildings, people trying to run away and were shot. He could not count the bodies he saw, there were just too many.

Atrocious, pretty much... There are other two genocides perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire that must be recognized.

What good would denouncing the Uighur issue do as of now? The concentration camps would continue firm and strong. The UN repeatedly calls out China for violating air or maritime territory of other countries, and what does that do? Nothing. In Armenia's case, the respectable size of its community in the US, Turkey's deteriorating relationship with NATO and with the recent Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the public opinion shifting to Armenia/Artsakh contributed to that. Why in Hell didn't Trump recognize the genocide? That opened a possibility for Biden to do it. Only when defending China becomes morally impossible is when the US will do something about the Uighur. Until then, we wait.

The reason why the nations calling out china for violating stuff doesnt do much good is because thats all they are doing. Calling them out. They arent setting any hard boundaries out of fear they lose good standing with china. Same reason biden wont call them out because he wants good standing with china. Turkey is becoming a problem? How exactly? In terms of china's global influence they are a much bigger problem. Attempting to storm other countries and concentration camps. You tell me what is the bigger issue here.

The way i see it is all these other nations are slaves to china including our own. When our own local corporations wot stand up for their very same consumers that buy their products you can see the bigger issue here is china. The uigurs arent the first group of people they have organ harvested, put in concentration camps and done all that stuff to. Its just the most recent event.
