What i believe is women are paid generally the same but because they dont get those juicy promotions paying even more, now they are oppressed. But even then i have seen the opposite where women get preferential treatment and promoted over their peers.

explain what you mean by "generally paid the same" and what do you mean by "don't get those juicy promotion" elaborate on those two things, i need you to get specific on this also idc about your anedotes

Now there could be alot of factors that play into why these women arent getting the promotions. Maybe its a personal relationship with the ones over them. Maybe your boss is all cool with that dude who works around so he gives him a 10 cent raise or something idk. Or it could just be you arent working hard, or it could just be work experience or position title. Or maybe every boss in the world are just plain sexist and pay women crumbs while men take the whole loaf

what did you mean by "generally get the same pay" women don't ask for promotions and don't ask for raises while men will, women are naturally not risk takers and are (don't get triggered now) raised in society to be more submissive

Why am i triggered when its true? The Women that dont try hard enough therefore have no right to complain when others that do try, get what they get. I mean you see women rise to the top beating even the males sometimes. Are they just outliers? What i mean by generally are paid the same i mean they are paid just like their male counterparts. The only instance where it probably wont be that way is due to raises and promotion.

Just because one woman cant find her place doesnt meant the industry is male dominated. Name a single job that exists in today's society that doesnt allow women....besides you know male sports. For obvious reasons.

because whenever i bring up feminist talking points people get hella assmad for some reason, so I'm defensive now i suppose its not an aspect of 'not trying hard' if its societal conditioning (with a sprinkle of biology, i agree) and this isn't even the crux of the wage gap issue, women not asking for promotions while men are more likely to is just a small variable i looked this up awhile ago so if I'm wrong on this i apologize, but from what i remember male teachers tended to teach math and physics, while female teachers tended to fill in the other subjects, and yet math and physics were the highest paying positions there's also the fact that wages stagnate when women begin to enter into that field, but as mountain tiger said, that could be explained by over saturation my main issue is i feel that women are pushed into certain roles thankls to societal conditioning and being told where they should go, as well as harassment in male dominated work spaces like architecture and engineering

Well i wont argue women are harassed. If you go into a predominantly male work area ofc you will be like a fresh piece of meat to a pack of hungry wolves. If they stay away from those jobs i dont blame them. You will have pressure no matter where you go though. Everything is competitive, i wanna say math and science are one of the 2 most important subjects. They are used in basically everything. Reading and history ehhhh i mean reading sure you cant be illiterate but you can get by.
